I’ve been writing more micro-fiction lately (100–200-word stories). I submitted two micro-stories to the SmokeLong Grand Micro Contest 2025 earlier this month. Unfortunately, my submissions didn’t make it to the second round. But hey, at least I gave it a try. SmokeLong is a highly prestigious literary magazine, so I kept my hopes high but my expectations low.

I like the challenge of writing micro-fiction and enjoy coming up with these mini-stories. Hopefully, I’ll find good homes for the rejected SmokeLong pieces and the other micro-stories that I have in my drawer.
