Two of my stories have been accepted for publication this month – both titled Charlie (because I had a bit of an obsession with the name thanks to Skunk Anansie’s song Charlie Big Potato).
The first Charlie is an Afrikaans short story that was published by Naskrif magazine. It was inspired by the above photo of the wheelchair in an abandoned hospital. You can find it on page 140 of their April 2024 issue here: https://nskrywershuis.co.za/3d-flip-book/naskrif-april-2024/.

The second Charlie is an English flash fiction story that I wrote in response to Black Hare Press’s Dark Moments Monthly Challenge under the theme: You Can’t Choose Your Family. It was accepted for publication on their Patreon. You can read the story here, but you will have to be a member of their Patreon in order to read it in full.
That’s all for now, folks! Chat to you soon!
